Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 ½ sticks unsalted butter, cut into cubes
½ cup dark brown sugar
½ cup light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon smart salt
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla extract with a hand mixer.  In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda and smart salt.  Add dry ingredients to large bowl, mix well and add in chocolate chips.  Roll dough into 1 ½” balls and set 2” apart on baking sheet.  Bake 12-14 minutes.
